Sant’Agata Sicily DMC  2020, il giorno più lungo della festa: il giro interno Dopo i lunghi festeggiamenti del 4 Febbraio, che vedono il fercolo di Sant’Agata percorrere il giro esterno, il 5 febbraio, intorno alle 17.30, i fuochi di artificio annunciano l’uscita della Santa patrona di Catania e l’inizio del terzo giorno di festa lungo le vie di Catania 05 febbraio 2020 Il programma del 5 febbraio 2020 Nella tarda mattinata, in Cattedrale, viene celebrata la Messa Solenne: i garofani rossi di ieri simboleggianti il martirio, vengono sostituiti da quelli bianchi che rappresentano la purezza. Intorno alle ore 17.30 ha inizio il giro della vara dentro la città. Il fercolo percorre lentamente la via Etnea, attraversando piazza Università, fino a piazza Stesicoro. A seguire, il fercolo attraversa la via Caronda per dirigersi verso piazza Cavour. Poi, lo spettacolo pirotecnico al “Borgo” e inizia così la lunga discesa fino ai “Quattro Canti”.
