TEAM

Destination Sicily has a core team of three dedicated employees. During our peak season, we rely on a network of experienced freelance experts in the incentive and meetings industry for additional support.

Domenico Berardi, an experienced professional fluent in Italian, English, German and French, is the founding partner of DESTINATION SICILY. He has been a driving force in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) industry since 1998 and has made a significant contribution to the company’s growth and success.

Based on over a decade of experience as an incentive and conference organizer, Berardi recognized a gap in the market for a representation service that offered impartial advice and carefully crafted programs. DESTINATION SICILY was born from this insight and has since grown into a leading Sicilian DMC (Destination Management Company), earning the respect of customers and competitors alike.

Sandro Ingrasciotta is fluent in Italian and English and graduated from the University of Catania in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in tourism management. After a marketing internship at a local visitor attraction, he gained experience in venue scouting before joining DESTINATION SICILY in 2007.

As a valuable member of the team, Sandro contributes to various aspects of the company’s operations, including customer inquiries, target research, workshop coordination and the organization of inspection trips.

Erica Panebarco Special Interest Groups | Languages: Italian, English

She works in the booking area in contact with our suppliers. As an expert in gastronomic cuisine, she is a valuable resource when researching restaurants and selecting menus.

From time to time she personally accompanies food and wine groups.
